Here's the start of a very long project - going all of mom's photos and posting the best on the web. They're lovely photos that bring back some sweet memories. It's a good thing to do, and not just for sentimental reasons. The older slide are starting to deteriorate - some have yellow spots, many have faded color, and a few show decay in the film itself. They're not going to last much longer than a few more decades, so it is a good idea to transfer them to another medium - and someday someone will have to wade through these files, no doubt, but at least these memories will be preserved for Joe and Leslie's kids and others who want to see them. Wish me luck here.
