About me
I’m Paul Apfelbeck, teacher in the media and information technology program at the Galena Interior Learning Academy. We offer courses in computer applications, advanced applications, broadcasting, photography, unmanned aerial vehicle classes, and journalism. Students can earn the part 107 certification for commercial use of drones in the introduction to UAVs class; students in the advanced computer applications can earn Microsoft Office Systems certifications for PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Journalism
The journalism class publishes the Hawk Highlights, the student newspaper for the Galena City School District.
